Broccoli party

Friends Liliana and Calvin came by on Friday. Mom and Liliana's mom decided to try some baby-led weaning on the fly and give the babes some broccoli to play with and hopefully eat.

Catch up

Back in January (Leah was a mere 5 months old), we caught up with Vicky and her family in Bronxville and Galit & Talaya at their place in Harlem.

Hilarity ensued and so did photo snapping!

We ventured north thus the penguin onesie is ever so appropriate.

Playing with the Queen(s) of Hearts

Leah has been driven through Queens many times on the way to see Grandma and Grandpa Shevitz but she has never planted herself there for a period of time. Until today that is!

We ventured out of our Brooklyn norm and went for Thai food at one of the city's greatest. (We can now claim this to be true since we ate there today)

Leah stayed away from the delicious food that included red curry and a watercress salad (a top pick amongst some of the city's finest chefs). She was super-baby - so content and happy we barely heard a peep. We just saw smiles and towards the end of our meal she fell asleep.

The photos aren't as exciting as was the drive on the BQE thru the new-to-us neighborhood.

Leah's Aunt Jenn came for a visit today. 

Was it to see Leah or for the delicious Thai food?  

We will take her at her word - to see Leah!!

Half Birthday for the Half Pints!

On February 7, we celebrated Leah's six month birthday with her friends Orli and Felix at Felix' house (run by Mindy and Erik).

Sleepin' and sneerin'

Today was a gorgeous day so we took a stroll in the park, of course. And it was Leah's first time in the stroller without her car seat. At first, we thought she took to it very well since she fell asleep right away. See below.


But then a bit later when we checked in on her - -  the only way to put it is she looked none too pleased.
Fortunately for us, her "none too pleased" look is one adorable look!!

Sure, there is already a video on the site of Leah sitting up. We are aware. But here she is in a still.

Here we have Leah in her booster seat and bib. Need we even say it? Photo opp!!

It's clear that she is excited to be fed some solid food.

And it's clear here she is thinking,
"Hey guys?! Enough photos!! Where is the food already?"
