What a peach!

And what a hairdo. 

When Leah gets home from daycare pick up, it's chow time!  With her hair in a ponytail all day (a la Pebbles Flintstones) sometimes her dinner 'do is not the most. . . how shall we say it?. . . refined. Personally, we love it. 

So, she's hungry.  So, we gave her a peach to eat.  And we figured she was strong enough to hold it herself.

Over Memorial Day weekend we took Leah on her first carousel ride in the Park.  She was surprisingly. . . not psyched.  But she did react to the music!

Her arms went up and they were swinging the whole time.  

Not one smile.  

But those arms were moving!

This is after the ride.  She's still unsure what to think although she is pretty sure she did NOT have a good time. 

Here - the music is blasting - the merry go round is going around and she is dancing but very serious about it.

Leah got a new sun hat (thanks, Grandma Mel!) and of course, it had to be modeled before its first use as we ventured out to the playground on 5th Avenue.
